Comments policy

I very much welcome comments on this blog. Thank you for taking the time to post them.

All comments are filtered by me, Paul Walter, before publication. I apolgise for the slight delay before my approval and the comments appearing. I will only reject comments which are at risk of being defamatory. If in doubt, I will reject. To avoid this, it is best not to mention names if you are making accusations.

In some circumstances, I will close comments on subjects where sensible discussion has been exhausted.

Repeated abusive or destructive or extremely hostile comments, with no attempt to provide factual back-up when asked, may result in the commenter being temporarily barred from accessing this blog while attempts are made via email to re-establish the equilibrium of reasoned debate.

Unsolicited praise
"There is a refreshing frankness to the musings of Liberal Burblings which single this blog out. The ability to not mince one's words is highly prized here and, when combined with the ability to profane without insulting the reader's intelligence, is excellent. Whether pondering on the state of the Lib Dems, the country or the world at large, you can rely on Liberal Burblings to tell it like he thinks it is." - www.politics.co.uk
