UPDATE: Bless the BBC, they have changed their strapline as below. But it is still wrong. Andy Murray is NOT the first British man to reach a Wimbledon final for 74 years. (Jamie Murray 2007, Jeremy Bates 1987, John Lloyd 1984 – Mixed Doubles finalists). He is the first British man to reach a Wimbledon’s men’s singles final for 74 years.
