The Mail on Sunday reports a furious row between Bob Russell and Nick Clegg over the housing benefit cuts. Apparently Bob Russell left the room (where the discussion was taking place) in such a fury that he “took the door off its hinges”. The next morning, Mike Hancock MP returned to the scene, presumably wearing overalls and carrying a DIY box, and attempted to repair the damage before it was noticed by the Commons authorities.

I can’t say that I share Mr. Russell’s outlook on this matter, but I can really identify with the door thingy. If you believe in something, then you should darn well, get exercised about it. As long as it’s just inanimate objects that suffer your attentions.

You really shouldn’t beleive everything you read in the Mail.
It is pretty ludicrous that Bob or anyone else would take a door off its hinges, and even more ludicrous that Mike would go back and repair it.
This is Mail nonsense, as Bob himself has confirmed.
