Is this a wind-up?

One could be forgiven for thinking that.

This, last night, was Phil Davison of Minerva, Ohio, USA at a meeting of the Stark County Republican Committee, making a pitch to become the party’s nominee for Stark County treasurer.

He failed.

What is quite extraordinary is that this man has, as he boasts, a “Master’s degree in communication”. Presumably, communication delivered with a sledge-hammer, that is.
