Wasn't he the one who set the whole Freddie Mac & Fanny Mae nightmare in motion by introducing legislation which forced US banks to saddle the poorest in America with unsustainable home loans any fool knew they could never afford to repay? Many of the poorest lost their homes as a result and the banking sector went into meltdown. Wasn't it Clinton too who put wide boy Rahm Emannuel (of "Don't let a good crisis go to waste" fame) and others like him, with no experience of banking whatsoever, as political apppointees onto the board of Freddie Mac, where they negligently looked the other way and kept pumping out unrepayabe loans until US banks went into meltdown?
