I don’t sit around just talking to experts because this is a college seminar. We talk to these folks because they potentially have the best answers so I know whose ass to kick. Right?
What I love most about this comment is the way that BBC reports of it have attempted to preserve the US short vowel in the word ‘arse’ (which is, of course, what the word ‘ass’ is), so that it sounds like the rather less offensive English word ‘ass’. I’m just waiting for the Donkey Sanctuary people to show up and question the use of violence against equine hybrids.
