Poor Iain. He’s failed to notice yet again that his joke is only funny to those who share his bias/prejudices*.

Treacherous Liberal Democrat who lies and cheats and steals far worse than any Tory ever would, so there. Talk about the REAL ‘nasty party’. Hahahahahahaha!

(*That Iain thinks he is sufficiently if not totally immune to such things is the funniest joke of all.)

Bless you. I linked to the piece so anyone could see that. Humour has to have a basis of truth to be funny. LibDem Voice have scrupulously avoided any suggestion of claims of LibDem non-culpability in the expenses scandal. They have been at pains to point out that we cannot claim that.

Nor did anyone reading them think that they actually were. I see that you deliberately avoided mentioning “powdered arse” or “smell of Mr Sheen”, because they’d have made it clear that this was mockery, not a quote.

How ironic that, in complaining about misquotation, you have cherry-picked quotations?

Only since about 1973, Iain darling. I started reading it at about the time of the Goldenballs fund and while “Mrs Wilson’s Diary” was going. (The latter of which was, interestingly, based on “Mrs Dale’s Diary”.)
